The game’s AI will control them, so don’t expect miracles. The AI can hold its own against enemies on more than one occasion.
There will be plenty of stuff to farm so that you can max out each character in your roster. Each of them are amazing, having a unique skill set you need to learn and adapt to, meaning the game is ripe with plenty of different playstyles for you to try.
