Two Dots is a simple puzzle game. Connect the dots of the same color so you can collect a specific number of dots from each color. Well, the premise is simple, but the gameplay constantly evolves, with the challenge increasing as you progress with how many new variables are added to the board.
For example, anchors are dots that can’t be cleared unless dropped to the bottom row. You also have fire dots that can only be removed if you connect dots that are right next to them. And you need to do it quickly, as this fire dot can “infect” other dots with fire, essentially spread the fire on your screen, make your life much harder in the process.
Or what about monster dots? You do need to clear them, as they will eat random dots next to them, perhaps running your dot connection. So, yeah, the game has plenty of quirky dots that alter how you go about clearing your objective.
Two Dots does have boosters and power-ups you can buy to make life easier and deal with all of these special dots much easier. For example, the Eraser power-up can remove any dot on the screen, and as you saw earlier, some of those special dots can cause mayhem if left unchecked. You also have a power-up that can instantly remove all dots of a specific color, which is great when you have a lot of dots that can’t be connected. As for boosters, they are applied at the start of a level and can range from clearing all dots in a column and row to dropping a bomb that clears everything around it.
